Astron CampI should take some time to record down what I've did in last week. Quite a tried week and I need to spend several days for recovery.
The "adult" of the camp
Joined St Joe Astron to their camp, well, I've received nothing to handle so that it is interesting to enjoy the camp, quite a lot of feelings, quite a lot of chatings, cannot sleep on those bed well, details as follows:

Eric phone me and ask about where I am, which I'm still in bed. So silly that I've remember the date for the camp wrongly, I think the camp will be started on 17/Apr. Wake up immediately, pick up the notebook, SureFire and Green laser, spare clothings, go to have a quick bath and rush to the port. Luckily the notebook battery still have remaining power left.

From the information given by my sister, fast boat will depart at 14:00. Arrived at the port 13:55 just because my Dad drived me to the port. Fast boat to Cheung Chau on Sunday and public holidays is exepensive, cost me $30. Unfortunately, the boat arrived late and departed late, at around 14:10.

Quite impressive for the speed of the fast boat, 28 mins later I'm already in Cheung Chau. Not sure about the route to Ming Fai Camp, asked 3 person in total all the way to the camp and finally arrived.

Put all the belongings in the lecture room (should be multi-purpose room), then watch the grouping activities. Girls is much less than boys, and elder also, St Joe F.3 members all turned grey and feel being cheated.

First lecture by TA of MSS, Mr. Lam, talking about Black Hole, Albert Einstein and his theories. I cannot control my "bad habit" from the university and put up my hand to answer question, likely secondary school student today will not do these kind of things. Overall it is a nice speech  , learned a lot of things. Room assignment afterwards.

Time for Paul to start his lecture on stargazing. But I've got another task to do, joining MSS's TA Mr. Lam to pick up late coming girls from the port, leave the camp and head to port at 20:00. Gave my green laser to Paul for lecture, the effect is impressive, 30mW is simply too bright for indoor use.

Checked all the tactical equipments, make sure my 9P and T3 are good, head to the port. Nice chat with Mr. Lam on issues of both St. Joe and he school, talked quite a lot about myself, interesting on the whole.

Arrived at the camp with 5 girls. Paul just finished the lecture. Eric outsourced the camp fire to some people, and they are preparing for it on the basketball court.

Camp fire. I've joined, nice job. Quite physically challenging to an old guy like me, tried afterwards, in addition to the walk from the port to the camp just before.

Camp fire finished, cloudy, gave up stargazing, all people headed for person activities. Gone back to room and get my phone charged. At the same time Paul ask if I wanted to go out for ®d©], he, his GF and me, not good to be there, didn't join.

Quite boring after several round of Big 2, me and Eric to out and check the sky. Sky clear, to back to my room immediately and pick my notebook.

Turned on Redshift and compare it to the sky. Moon is clear, with Jupiter next to it. Saw Antares of Scorpius, Vega of Lyra, Sadr, Deneb, Gienag Cygni of Cygnus, and Arcturus of Bootes. Much more are seen when me and Eric adapted to the night vision. With a 19-day-old moon we can see magnitude of around +4, quite nice. Unforturately all campmates are playing with themselves or slept, such a pity the they cannot enjoy.
Most important for tonight is the chat with Eric afterwards, heart feel much better. I didn't realized I'm Eric's ®v³Å, well, didn't noticed that for number of years. Pushed him to be the chairman so that I need to take care of him, starting from next year even my apprentice is graduated, SJC Astron should be given to another generation.

Go together with Eric and want to brief the ex-co, arrived at the ex-co room and found that ex-co of MSS and St. Joe playing in the room, immediately we have nothing to brief and leave at once. Interesting that he ex-co of MSS phone Eric and ask if there are any problem that St. Joe's "TA" saw them playing in Boys' room overnight. Well, I'm considered as a "TA". Bad, I need to say it once again that I'm not that old.

Check out. Group photo. I've made suggestion on the style of group photo, quite young and energetic, so nice.

Leave the camp
After camp activities: quite a number of members choice to dismiss on Cheung Chau directly, me and Eric go back to central and have a nice lunch.
Conclusion after the camp:
- Overall this is a nice camp.
- Young grils there make I feel myself quite old already, and time for me have a GF like Paul.
- Redshift is a nice software for notebook. I've tried TheSky at home, but it is bad.
- SureFire, once again, proven its value by illuminating the whole basketball court when camp fire finished with lights go out
- Green laser is a nice star pointer, and also attracted a lot of girls, "May the force be with you"
- Red Glo-toob is a nice light marker to put with your belongings
- Always get physically ready for camp fire activities, especially if you go to camp with young people
- Need to buy a telescope
- I need to say it once again, I'm not a "TA"
- Question happened in St. Joe: "If an english teacher fails to teach english, and she use poor english as well, what is she?" => Answer: "Rubbish, useless rubbish"
